Reaching for Wisdom... building a legacy for the futureReaching for Wisdom is about psychiatrists making practical choices to benefit their patients. It implies a mature integration of appropriate knowledge and a seasoned ability to filter the inessential from the essential. By supporting the Reaching for Wisdom Campaign, we empower Canadian psychiatrists to develop innovative, evidence-based best practices to better serve their patients and all Canadians.
Help Build Your Endowment FundThe Reaching for Wisdom Campaign of the Foundation of the Canadian Psychiatric Association (FCPA) is building an endowment fund that will provide Canadian psychiatrists with targeted support for innovative projects to help optimize the availability and quality of psychiatric services.
While the need to support the profession encompasses a field that is both widespread and growing in complexity, the Foundation has determined to focus on three critical groups and four priorities.

An Opportunity to Get Involved You are invited to consider a gift to the Foundation. With your help, the Foundation is building a one million dollar fund that will allow an ongoing annual disbursement of grant awards. Over the long term the Foundation would like the endowment fund to increase to ten million dollars. At this level, the Foundation will be able to provide a significant yearly contribution to support a wide range of projects.
